MedTech & Biotech

From lab to global market: what will it take for Poland to scale MedTech and Biotech?

Poland has strong scientific talent, engineering capabilities and a growing MedTech and biotech ecosystem. Yet turning research breakthroughs into globally competitive companies remains a major challenge. This panel will explore what Poland needs to improve across the entire innovation pathway — from university research and intellectual property to clinical validation, regulatory approval, investment and international expansion. Bringing together perspectives from government, academia, industry and venture capital, the discussion will identify the barriers that continue to slow down commercialisation and the practical changes needed to build globally scalable life-science companies in Poland.
