Michał Drogosz

Bio

Michał Drogosz is CEO of empiriQa, a spin-off from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń developing quantum communication networks for critical infrastructure, using fibre and satellite links. The technology builds on 20 years of research at the university. He has spent more than 15 years in the European space sector, starting as a design engineer before moving into project management and leading an aerospace team working on ESA missions. He later set up a space electronics company, which he led as CEO, growing the team to 35 people and bringing in a strategic investor. His work with quantum technology began in 2018, when his team developed space-qualified electronics for an entangled photon source.
